DAY OF EVENT INFORMATION - Print Version

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4TH
10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Art Stroll Location:

The Art Stroll will take place on closed sections of Camino Del Mar/Coast Hwy. 101 from 15th Street to 12th Street in Del Mar, CA 92104
Directions from Interstate 5 North or South:

  • Exit Del Mar Heights Road and proceed west (left turn if you exit from the south, right turn if you exit from the north). Note: Because the southbound side of Camino Del Mar will be closed to traffic the day of the event we recommend that all artists use Del Mar Heights Road.
  • Proceed on Del Mar Heights Road over the hill until you come to Camino Del Mar
  • Turn right onto Camino Del Mar and proceed to the stop light at 9th Street
  • Turn left onto 9th Street, go one block then turn right onto Stratford
  • Turn right again onto 10th Street. The check-in area will be on your left.

Artist Check-In:

  • All Artists must check in at the Del Mar City Hall parking lot located west of Camino Del Mar between 10th Street and 11th Street (see directions above).
  • Check-in will open at 6:15 am. Load-in times have been assigned between 6:30 am and 8:30am.
  • To help things run smoothly please do not arrive more than 15 minutes before your load-in time!
  • Vehicles will be held at the check-in area until there is sufficient room to allow your clearance onto the exhibit site.
  • You will be given a placard at check-in that will allow you into the exhibit area. Any vehicle arriving at the actual exhibit entrance without a placard will not be allowed access.

Artist Load-In:

  • You may park in front of your marked booth space to unload. You will have 30 minutes to unload your work then move your vehicle.
  • Volunteers will be on hand to help with load-in and monitor the exhibit route.
  • When you park on the exhibit route to unload, please park as close to right, next to the tent/space marker as possible. We must keep an emergency lane open at all times and other artists will need to be able to pass on the left.
  • Load-in times have been assigned from 6:30 am to 8:30 am. All vehicles must be off the exhibit route by 9:00 am. The show opens at 10:00 am.
  • We will do our best to address significant concerns regarding load-in times but we can only fit so many vehicles on the exhibit route at any given time. Email concerns to info@delmarmainstreet.com

First 30 Accepted Artists:

If you were among the first 30 accepted artists (see attachment) you will receive your complimentary Taste ticket and parking placard at check-in. Note that if you are given underground parking at the L’Auberge the clearance is 8’2”.

Parking information and load-out instructions will be provided at check-in October 4th.
