Do you know of a village business that has insti- tuted a new office protocol positively effecting the environment, or a del mar community member who is motivating others to assist with their unique recycling effort? Is there a del mar organization that has devel- oped an innovative technique that makes an environ- mental impact?

In an effort to recognize the outstanding downtown Del Mar businesses, organizations, and individuals for their commitment and innovation to the “greening” of our environment, the del mar village association has created the Eco Friend award.
