Shop the Quaint Village Of Del Mar & Avoid Mall Traffic This Holiday Season
Take Advantage of Free Holiday Parking Days & Dining Voucher Program
Del Mar – November 2, 2009 – Avoid the mall traffic and crowds and see all that downtown Del Mar has to offer this holiday season. In addition to numerous unique shops, services, galleries, and restaurants, the charming seaside Village is offering FREE parking on weekends and a Holiday Dining Voucher program.
Offered on specified weekends in December including the Christmas and New Years holidays, shoppers will be able to take advantage of nine days of free all day parking. The complimentary parking days, Initiated by the Del Mar Village Association and unanimously approved by the Del Mar City Council, include areas all along 15th Street, the metered parking under the L’Auberge Del Mar, and all along Camino Del Mar between 15th and 4th Streets.
The nine free parking days are:
December 5,6 (Saturday and Sunday)
December 12, 13 (Saturday and Sunday)
December 19, 20 (Saturday and Sunday)
December 24, 25 (Thursday and Friday)
January 1 (Friday)
Take advantage of the Del Mar Dining Voucher Program. Starting November 14th through December 24th, simply spend $75 or more at any of the downtown Del Mar stores and receive a $15 dining voucher. The vouchers, specific for meal items only, are valid through March 31, 2010, and can be redeemed at participating Downtown Village restaurants including Americana, Crepes and Corks Café, En Fuego Cantina and Grill, Jimmy O’s, Pacifica Del Mar, Sbicca, Seaside Yogurt, Shimbashi Izakaya, Stratford Court Cafe, Sunset Bar and Grill, as well as others.
