Downtown Del Mar Destination Health & Well-Being
Del Mar – December 29, 2009 – After the hectic holiday season why not start the new year and reenergize in the charming coastal town of Del Mar? Known for its beautiful beach, two coastal parks, and quaint downtown village, Del Mar is a perfect refuge for those seeking rejuvenation for the mind, body and soul especially after a hectic holiday season.
Whether you find inner peace through meditation, massage, outdoor fitness classes, pilates sessions, surfing, walking, running (with or without your canine companion), or through fine dining, shopping or art, the coastal city of Del Mar, just north of downtown San Diego, offers it all. Interested in toning your body while enjoying an ocean view? Starting in the new year, the Del Mar Plaza will be offering fitness classes at its ocean view Plaza Deck. Boot Camp, Zumba Dance, and Cardio Sculpt classes will be offered each morning, Monday through Friday. Taught by ACE certified instructor and nutritionist Kelly Webster, the fitness classes offer individuals an opportunity to tone, burn calories and reconnect their spirit in an outdoor ocean view setting. In the spring, yoga and mat pilates as well as nutrition and cooking classes will be added to the Del Mar Plaza’s wellness
offerings. Pre-registration is necessary as class size is limited. To register contact Kelly Webster by phone or email - 858 692-1814 or synergizeme@yahoo.com .
Those seeking a personalized approach to exercise and fitness, should visit the J.L. Body Conditioning Studio. The studio is operated by Julian Littleford, a founding member of Physical Mind Institute in New York City and who is gold certified through the Pilates Methods Alliance.
