The Taste and Art Stroll in Del Mar is an annual event held in the heart of the charming village of Del Mar. The event includes a free art stroll and a ticketed restaurant and wine/brewery tastes.
Tease your palate with samples of delicious culinary creations offered by some of Del Mar and North County’s finest food purveyors and sip selections from California wineries and local breweries while strolling among artists' tents featuring juried original artwork by over 80 talented, local and regional artists.
This spectacular celebration of art, cuisine, wine and brews also includes live music, a children’s interactive art area and a pet stroll.

The San Diego County Library/Del Mar Branch is providing hands-on art activities for toddlers to teens, including mandalas, baby hand prints and much more! Bring the family to watch the Scripps Performing Art Academy performances, have fun with the Rose Art Center "Small Wonders-Painting on Many Canvases for Children", delight the kids with face and body paintine with Betty Lovegren, review the kids' art work from Del Mar Heights Elementary, Del Mar Hills, Winston School and Rose Art Center and be a part of the art in the downtown!
PET STROLL Free
Stroll with your favorite pet and pick up pet treats at participating locations. Come by the event Information Booths for more information the day of the event (Information Booths located at the corner of 15th Street and 11th Street and Camino Del Mar).
PARKING AND SHUTTLE TRANSPORT Free
Complimentary public parking and shuttle bus transportation is available at the Del Mar Shores/Winston School located at 215 9th Street in Del Mar.
Downtown Del Mar Event Traffic and Parking Adjustments for Taste of Del Mar and Art Stroll starting evening of October 2 Del Mar – September 17, 2009 – Along with the Taste of Del Mar and Art Stroll festivities on Saturday, October 3, there will be slight adjustments made for downtown Del Mar traffic and parking. Starting the evening before the Del Mar Village event on Friday, October 2nd, street parking on Camino Del Mar/Pacific Coast Highway 101 between 15th and 11th Streets will be restricted until 8pm Saturday evening.

Come to volunteer, then stay and enjoy the fun! We have many opportunities for volunteers to staff various positions from 6am until 7pm. Typically, volunteers work for two or three hour shifts. Volunteer duties include Information and Ticket Booth staffing, messengers, assisting visitors, checking-in artists or assisting with children's art activities, set-up, clean-up, etc.
